Dr. Alina True attended Santa Clara University where she studied Biology and Dance. She found her passion for dentistry after serving on a dental mission trip, in which she discovered that she could combine her artistic side with her desire to serve others as a healthcare professional. She attended dental school at the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. While in dental school, she was a Tau Kappa Omega and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor student. She first visited our office while she was still a dental student.

After dental school, she completed a yearlong general practice residency at VA Sepulveda in Southern California. During that intense training, she was able to take an interdisciplinary approach to dentistry and work alongside the medical team to treat patients and give them the best care possible. She loved her time there because it reinforced her values of treating the patient as a whole, connecting each patient’s oral health to their overall health. She was able to gain extensive experience in oral surgery, implant placement, periodontal therapies, and endodontics while working with our veterans.

As a dentist, her focus is all about prevention. She strives to help educate her patients as a tool to help them overcome potential long-term dental issues. She believes that the best care begins with a patient who is equipped with all the information necessary to make great decisions for themselves. She believes in the importance of partnering with our patients to help them reach their individual oral health goals.

When she is not working, you may find her dancing, baking, hiking, or spending time with her family.

She is excited to meet new patients and work together to help them achieve a healthy mouth and thus, a healthier body.

Dr. True is a member of The California Dental Association, The American Dental Association, and has undergone advanced training at The Las Vegas Institute, which is focused on the integration of comprehensive diagnosis, contemporary techniques and technology.
